Thank you for considering donating your car or boat. We make used car and boat donations, car removal, car recycling, or simply scrapping a car an easy process for you. We are partnered with ‘Donate A Car Canada’.

Donate a Car Canada accepts Vehicle Donations for the BC Parks Foundation. Free towing is provided in most areas across Canada, or you can drop off your vehicle to maximize your donation. When you donate your car, truck, RV, boat, or motorcycle to the BC Parks Foundation through Donate A Car Canada, it will either be recycled or sold at auction (depending on its condition, age and location). Donate a Car Canada will look after all the details to make it easy for the BC Parks Foundation to benefit. After your vehicle donation is complete, our charity will send you a tax receipt and will put your gift to good use. Please click here to donate a vehicle.

Other ways you can help enhance BC’s world-class parks system

The Sovereign Lake Nordic Club needs your support

Sovereign Lake Nordic Club is located high above Vernon in beautiful Silverstar Provincial Park. The Nordic Club is a not-for-profit ski club with over 28,000 day users in winter months and 2,100 members, making it the largest cross-country ski club in Canada.

With a mandate to get people of all ages outside and active, the Sovereign Lake Nordic Club provides inclusive programming opportunities for all ages. The youth programs offer diverse opportunities including a S’Cool Ski Program where over 1,800 children from around the region participate in ski and snowshoe adventures throughout the winter. Sovereign Lake has become the hotspot for masters skiing boasting the largest Masters Ski Program in the nation with over 250 participants.

No matter their age, members and visitors to the Sovereign Lake Nordic Club are all enjoying the many health benefits that come from being active in B.C.'s beautiful outdoors, and they get to experience the fun and magic of gliding over some of the best cross-country skiing runs in the world.

Your donation will help improve club facilities

The Sovereign Lake Nordic Club is planning the construction of a new day lodge to start in 2021. The existing lodge, which was built in the 1990s, is overcrowded and cannot provide the space or services required to properly and comfortably serve members and guests. Your generous donation will be put to work, supplementing contributions from the local, provincial and federal government. The Club is looking to raise $1.5 million to build this new state-of-the-art facility.

And, your donation will help get kids outside

The Nordic Club's Jess4Kids Fund provides cross-country skiing and snowshoe opportunities to over 250 impoverished or marginalized children annually who would otherwise not be able to afford these unique outdoor experiences. This program also provides seed funding for the new Spirit North Ski Program, providing indigenous youth throughout the Okanagan opportunities to experience the great outdoors amongst their peers. Your generous donation will support providing these children with valuable learning experiences and will allow SLNC to expand the program to reach a larger group of children.

Jessica was an avid cross-country skier at Sovereign Lake Nordic Club who died tragically in a motor vehicle accident at the age of 26. She started skiing as a child in the Jackrabbits program. She raced, coached, and at the time of her accident, was working at Sovereign Lake and studying at UBC. This fund and the programs it supports are in honour of Jessica and the incredible contributions she had in the community.
