Greater Victoria donors from Sidney to Sooke have backed some of our most meaningful conservation wins. Here’s what your community has helped fund on southern Vancouver Island:

You helped protect a rare and sensitive coastal ecosystem with Hummingbird Hill secured for conservation, protecting Garry oak meadows and habitat for species at risk on southern Vancouver Island.

Your support helped refresh the Goldstream Nature House into a more welcoming, engaging hub for families, visitors, and young learners. Nearly 45,000 people connected with nature here last fall, with thousands more already taking part this spring, including children discovering the salmon run through hands-on learning.

You opened parks to those who need them most: Spark-funded programs supported hundreds of newcomers and refugees in getting outside, spending over 2,600 hours in nature and building confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging.
