Kakwa Park
Kakwa Park is a world-class, year-round recreation destination for outdoor enthusiasts. From snowmobiling and camping, to horseback riding and fishing, there are activities for all interests and ages. Explore the expansive alpine meadows, admire the towering mountains, like Mount Sir Alexander, and keep a watchful eye out for the incredible wildlife that call Kakwa home.
This incredible provincial park and protected area, like many others in B.C., is available to visitors at little to no cost, even as annual visits rise each year.
We need good-natured people like you to help us protect and sustain B.C.’s provincial parks and protected area for future generations.

“In 2015 I bought myself a camera and decided to get out in the wilderness away from cell/internet range. As I slowed down and watched and listened, a whole new world appeared. The wilderness and its wild animals had many lessons for me. Nature nourishes and teaches us patience. Nothing in nature is rushed. It is divine timing: everything happens when it’s time.
