Starting June 6, BC Parks will come alive with stories, wonder, and discovery as Discover Parks Ambassadors return to 25 parks across the province. Sign up at DiscoverParks.ca and you’ll receive regular tips and information about great things happening across BC, including some virtual tours if you are staying at home.
These passionate nature interpreters lead free programs all summer long—guided walks through forest trails, hands-on kids’ activities, and evening shows under the stars.
“I’ve missed these programs since I was a kid,” shared one Wasa Lake visitor. “They made our camping experience more fun and connected us with all the other campers!”
Interpretation programs like the ones offered by Discover Parks Ambassadors are proven to deepen our relationship with the land—turning curiosity into care. From salmon spawns to bird calls, Ambassadors bring BC’s ecosystems to life and spark a sense of wonder that lingers long after the tents are packed.
