Tom Moore’s family leaves a lasting gift to Manning Park

For Tom Moore, Manning Park was where he began a remarkable 44-year career with BC Parks. It was where he built trails, guided visitors, shared stories, and inspired others to fall in love with the outdoors. It was also where he spent treasured time with his family, creating memories that would last a lifetime.

Today, Tom's legacy lives on through the T.O. Moore Family Park Fund. Watch the video above to hear directly from Tom's family and learn why they chose to honour his legacy in this way.

Created by Tom's family in partnership with BC Parks Foundation, the fund will support projects that enhance and care for Manning Park, from trail improvements and infrastructure upgrades to initiatives that help visitors connect more deeply with this special place.

If Tom's dedication to Manning Park has inspired you, consider making a donation to help carry that legacy forward. Your support of the T.O. Moore Family Park Fund will help care for the trails, facilities, and visitor experiences that meant so much to him, ensuring future generations can create their own memories in this special place.

Protect now, enjoy forever. Donate to honour Tom's legacy.
